OK ..I've made the statement more than once I can't even draw stickmen very good, so I gave it a try in PSP X9 ....
The result .... hope you all like it.

Good start, but I found the sun, rainbow, hat, brollies, etc. to be distracting. I'd love to see it with a more consistent style. Maybe filter the "sharp focused" assets through a watercolor filter, before pasting?

Yeah my drawing skills are still at stick figure level as well.  That's why I use software crutches for most of my artistic needs.  You know, Daz, Photoshop, Freehand... (although I haven't used Freehand in a couple of decades now, have a new vector graphic program in mind if I get the urge again).

I do occasionally paint faces in photoshop, using an actual face underneath to get the basic shape, then going from there (and deleting the original face), but it takes me a LOOOOOONG time.

But while I occasionally do good, mostly it's average or below average, so I won't share here.  Tough crowd, and they were 'personal' pieces for specific people anyways...

That's a fun little piece you did there though.  Who knows, maybe the art afficionados will decide it's Picasso level...

My artistic tastes lean to the more 'literal' though, and the more abstactionist it gets, the less interested I am, so I am by no means an art afficionado!

I like it except for the dog & cat at the bottom. Those seem to be inserted just to elicit that 'awwww, ain't they cute' response and don't fit the them of the rest of the painting.

I love the picture. Any chance of you making versions of your figures for Genesis 8 male and female so I can use them ? wink

I started with 3D software because I can't draw. I've never bought photoshop because it seemed silly paying so much for a paint package with my lack of talent but I do have a collection of free, low cost and special offer paint programs that I hardly ever use.

I thought you were complaining about the nudity in the image above.  They are not wearing clothes!

Edit except for the one in the hat, maybe?

    Same here.

I took an art course back in college. I could draw (pretty much) anything that was put in front of me.

Twelve years later, I've got no confidence and can only draw stick figures. frown

I know nothing about the program that you've used, but the graphics are pretty cool. Plus, they're stickmen. I don't think it's possible for them to be drawn badly. :p

    Yep, stick figures...

This piece I just threw together sums up somewhere around half of the Daz clothing library...

It's not nearly as artistic as the OP's piece, but then my artistic sensibilities are a bit more crude...

laugh That cat being green just makes it. I don't think I've ever seen a green cat.

Well that's a fail on my part as an artist!  It's supposed to be a goblin... I probably should move the ears lower, but that's my piece and I'm sticking to it!

Green cat people works for me!

My bad, I thought it was my vision of sick people. I was gonna point out zombie hoards 3d models but this is not the case.

Not sure, sick people have multiple meanings.  Sick as in physically unhealthy or mentally unhealthy or criminally insane?
