"Sketchy" could use a more comprehensive tutorial.

I got frustrated, trying to learn Sketchy, so I went back to PwToon. It would be nice if the creator could give examples of how to at least achieve the different looks in th example pics. The video on the product page just doesn't give enough information.

Have you tried the Readme that comes with the product? It should be in your Readme-folder in your content directory, or available here:  http://docs.daz3d.com/lib/exe/fetch.php/public/read_me/index/37527/37527_sketchy-toon-edge-and-art-style-user-guide.pdf

I've pored over it, but I just didn't find it all that informative. Sure, it explains what the settings do, but not much in the way of showing how to use them in concert.

  • I wish a lot of these toon shaders had a 'recipe' book. To get this look (example provided) do this this and this. None of them do. I would like to know how to create the second image on the sketchy page. The girl in red and black. Or in Line Render 9000 ( a program that will not work for me no mater how many tutorials I try and then try to combine them in photoshop in meriad ways) I wouls like a step by step guide to get the first two images on the Daz page. The girl in the blue dress with the apron. This is exactly the look I would like to get but do not know how.

I still experiment and create my own looks but it can be frustrating when the end result is staring you in the face but not the way to get there.
