Of course, if you're relatively new to this, then there are several practices that might be odd to you...

Some people might not stay long enough to learn all the small DAZ specific ways of doing things...And this "But it's always been like this..." has never been a good argument, as it only leads to a standstill, instead of an advance.

As it seems, DAZ has learned already, because in the promo for the PC+ discount they suddenly managed to add the "not for new items" condition right there on the promo... Lets hope that's another "odd practice" that's gone for good.

  • Ah yes, when you are new here you soon find things are not always what they seem in Daz land... That 50% discount should have really have had 'excluding new items and some vendors' tagged on the end.

On the other hand I just bought Charlotte 8 Pro and Edward 8 at 70% off and the maths used for the discount appeared to be based in this galaxy. Apparently there's some kind of football or, what your side of the pond call, 'soccer' competition going on...

Remember the one thing you can count on in Daz land is there's always another sale... Much to the dismay of my credit card...

For the whole store to be on sale it requires that every vendor agrees on putting their store on sale. What if some don't?

I'm guessing it's contractual, i.e., vendors must agree to allow their stuff to go on sale when initially submitting their product to Daz.

It would be impractical to re-contact vendors everytime DAZ wanted to put a PA's product on sale again I would think because DAZ's staff is not that big.

    Could be.

That could easily be automated. I assume vendors have some kind of dashboard where they can control their stores from.

I’m sure they have to sign some terms to get in the store in the first place.
