  • WOW how have I not seen the Mousso thread before?! I love Mousso's models so very much, and all the art here is beautifully done.

I am mainly using Vix a lot these days... Anyhoo, here's today's personal render! I made some softboxes with grids in Blender and wanted to test them out. Very soft, very dramatic.

Ivory, Her Cat Moshi and Poe the Crow (part #2)

Thought I'd stretch out the story of Ivory into a short tale of a good witch, her kitty named Moshi and her friend crow named Poe.  Of course continuing to utilize  MSO Ivory HD for Genesis 9 Feminine by Mousso of course

Getting concerned that all I can say is 'Wow', 'Amazing' or 'So good'. But what else can I say about images like these? Just.. just 'Wow'. I'm rendered hopelessly inarticulate by your renders. Regards, Richard.

junk This render series with Ivory is so very sweet! Love it. heart

You create the perfect atmospheres for each series. Excellent lighting and camera angles used with Gigi. The de-saturated look and ghostly lighting in The House Mystery is just spot on. Amazing work on all these, as always. heart

    Thank you blush

I'll join everyone else: your Ivory series is great smiley

A small question: do you plan the story in advance or made it along the way as your creating each rendrer ?

    --------

I have a new render, with MSO Lacey, 'It takes two to be the only one': short story, items and raw render in the gallery:

It's taking place in Canada, but I suppose it happened last Autumn: I only thought about that after I had placed maple trees with red leafs all over the background blush

This is mostly mousso Blue. The comment up top has to do with sweet talking lines. She's skeptical.

This is one I did a while back, but don't seem to have posted in this thread. If I  have, I do apologise. It's Mousso's Reese in an unexpected meeting.

Meeting your late Great-Great Grandmother when visiting the long abandoned family home would probably count as pretty unexpected... Reese doesn't want to believe what she's seeing.

    Regards,

    Richard

Thanks, that was the intention, glad it worked.

I did rather get face ache when trying out the pose to fix it in my mind so I could pose Reese properly. I'm not someone who can pose a character without trying it out myself to fix it in my head. It does often have the side effect of causing great hilarity at home. Trying to pose a character with a detached doorway fitness rail was one that had my wife in helpless giggles because the only place I could pose myself was head down at the bottom of the stairs..

    Regards,

    Richard

richardandtracy I try to pose my own hands generally during Daz Studio posing but not the face.  That would be hilarious to see!

Elor. "A small question: do you plan the story in advance or made it along the way as your creating each rendrer ?"  Whoops, sorry I hadn't seen your message until just now. Sometimes I might have only the next scene worked out but often nothing is planned.  :)  I just think that it would be neat if I added one more thing to a scene and it grows from there.

Three more story scenes released over the last week or so:

Ivory, Her Cat Moshi and Poe the Crow (part #5)  Image #1
    Ivory 5
Whisked back to the swamp. The calm before the storm.

Ivory, Her Cat Moshi and Poe the Crow (part #5) Image #2
    Ivory 5-2
The Necromancer has cloned himself into four seperate entities wanting to claim Ivory and her wand.

Ivory, Her Cat Moshi and Poe the Crow (pt 6)
    Ivory 6
Ivory with the wand creates electricity before the evil consumes her

Ivory, Her Cat Moshi and Poe the Crow (pt 7)
    Ivory 7
Ivory is exhausted but the original necromancer now can consume her soul

I may be done with the story here since everyone knows what is happining next.  OR there might be just one more scene with her sleeping off the battle, Moshi and Poe back with her as the swamp creature drags the necromancer into a watery grave.  The murder goes full circle.

LOOOOONNNGGG stories in the links above each image if interested along with assets.

Of course still utilizing the lovely MSO Ivory HD for Genesis 9 Feminine by Mousso of course

I like the entire sequence and the visual storytelling.  Evil dragged away and put in its place.  And the well earned rest that follows.

    Thank you once again!

Junk, your story telling is amazing.

The posing is, as always, fabulous. In image #6 you have achieved the only believable primal scream I've seen in DS. Ivory's whole body is straining to produce it from her feet upwards; You can both see and feel the scream from the body language. Spectacularly effective posing. The asymmetry in her lips just nails it for me, making a 100% quality pose into a 110% quality pose - I so hope I can remember to do something like that in the future, if it comes to it.

From my years of living with cats, I do feel that image #9 (Finale) is slightly unlikely, I'd really expect Moshi to be curled into a ball at the small of her back, curled up at the bottom of the dip between buttocks and lower back. But then that may say more about my cats than your image.. wink Honestly, her left leg is in a pose you'd expect to be painful, but looks just so right in the image and perfect for the sequence. The draping of the skirt is so accurate and believable. How do you nail the feel with that accuracy? Amazing. And I lreally like the way you've culled the grass instances so accurately to prevent any growing through her as she lies down. That's a feat of patience if I've ever seen one.

    Regards,

    Richard

Wow Richard!  Thank you so very very very very much.  I totally agree that the cat being by her feet or behind her in an uncomfortable way would be so true.  But I wanted him to protect her heart in this case so had to bring him closer.  As far as her sleeping arrangement, it's silly, but that's how I sleep most every night.  If I lay on my back I start snoring it seems so face down but a little off kilter is my preference.

Once again thank you so kindly for your words and time to appreciate the images.  Often, the images drive the story, but in this case I would say it was 50/50.
