Well I think you nailed it Kyoto. I like the shadow in the middle ground with the lighting in the foreground as well as the background. Makes for a more interesting view of Aslan Court.

...thanks, shat I did was kill the base UE sphere, substitute an advanced Ambient light with a lower intensity and an Advanced Spotlight set to 360° spread with a linear falloff.

Well it definitely worked in this scene. I'm a real noob where UE is concerrned. I may have to try something like this and see what kind of effect I can come up with.

...thanks. Love the detail and those wonderfully polished floors.

I kept all the area lights just swapped out the main UE sphere with an Advanced Ambient light (occlusion colour set to the same as the UE sphere had) and then created a point light with an Advanced Spotlight. Cut the render time down by about two thirds.

Thanks, I though I'll add to the madness by playing with the camera settings.

I agree, drugs are only needed when life doesn't give you enough kicks. Keep life kicking and you don't need substitutes;)

...for me, a day without caffeine is like living in a fog.

Stupid site software, again logging me out and when I sign back in it keeps misdirecting me to my account page instead of back here to the thread. It's been almost two years now and this rubbish is still happening.

..and yes I cleared my browser cache which did nothing.

Well that is what happens when you know Monty Python word for word.

I wonder if anyone tested the theory of two African Swallows flying and carrying and coconut?

You did know I know the Philosopher's song and won a beer when we climbed Shafberg in Austria in 2009 (from 1250m to 3000m) when I sung it when we reached the top (it was a bet).

I sounded more like someone making a dirty phone call, not enough oxygen at 3000m when it was hot and I've walked/climbed for several hours.

~ROFLMAO~ Unfortunately Totte, there wouldn't have been any more oxygen if it had been in the dead of winter. I can't believe you even tried. ~shakes head~

How quickly did they pass the oxygen mask and tank to you after that?
