SOLVED! Everything Below Ground Renders Invisible

xyer0xyer0 Posts: 6,332

I have a template scene that has inexplicably developed an issue: Everything that is below ground level (floor) does not render. The transparent, that is, nothing is all that's there. Even with nothing in the scene but a character. Any ideas?

In the 'render settings' tab, under 'enviroments', is the ground position node set to manual? if so change it to auto.

Also in Environment, you can set Draw Ground to Off.

It WAS set to manual! I changed it to "Auto," and I'm awaiting the result.

I usually have Draw Ground set to Off because I rarely use the ground of the HDRI's.

@Mart1n71 Thanks! That did it! I must've loaded something that included that setting, and it stuck. @Toonces Thanks to you, sir/madam!
