Magnifying glass or zoom while rendering.

I would like to get a closer look of my image while its rendering, i have a tendency to scroll in and out the image in process, but thats a different program. I just want to upscale the image so i can check for artifacts and minor things that may need tweaking. Would be really handy if that would be implemented in some form or another. Percieved pixel size is getting smaller with the increase in screen resolution, i think some kind of zoom could become more and more useful.

Just a thought.
