Mirror posing?

I am a Daz novice and wanted to know if there is a posing technique or product that will enable you to mirror a pose you set on an arm or leg? In other words, I pose a right arm and want the left arm to match...

Yes. If you posed the bones directly (not using the Pose controls on the figure) just use the Symmetry command, in Edit>Figure or the Parameters pane option menu. Set Nodes to Selected, after seelcting the bone nearest the hip that you want to affect, and Propagation to Recursive (so that is also works on all of the child bones), thens et the direction you want - left to right, right to left, or swap left and right. If you want to mirror a whole pose you will also want to mirror the trunk nodes, and you can isntead set Root as the starting node.
If you have used any Pose Controls you will first need to use the Bake to Transforms command, from the same menus, to turn them into rotations on the actual bones so that Symmetry can see them.
Sounds a bit complicated, I will give it a try...I was hoping for an add on or something that would accomplish this.
For a one click solution, there is a set of pose scripts on sharecg that include a mirror pose that works quite well (like Richard noted in the manual methed, the bones need to have been posed, not just using the pose controls). It also includes other useful pose scripts as well.

It's actually quick, just selecting three or four options in a dialogue.
This is exactly what I was looking for! Works great, thanks DustRider.
I now use the edit figure method as well, in fact its quicker many thanks to Richard!
