Crash at dforce simulation

Dforce simulation used to work just fine, but today Daz crashed during a dforce simulation and keeps crashing now the minute I hit the simulate button. Even on scenes that worked fine before. I've reinstalled Daz Studio, I've put Daz Studio and related library items back from a time machine back-up. Nothing helps. 

Anyone any idea what can be done to resolve this (and what could have caused this to start with)?
