Oh me too. I was gushing about her stuff to my partner as soon as I glanced at my phone. It is amazing and it feels like it’s been too long.

Did anyone read the product description for Miya? ("Details") What the --bleep-- was that?? Why isn't anyone as baffled as me?
I mean, the PA's creations are a labour of love, that I understand, but, isn't that like WAY too much? It's a 3D model! A virtual doll! How come the marketing department didn't call BS?
I didn't even read it! Until now, that is. Now I think the cats are just biding their time...
She does tend to have little stories for all of her characters, i just view it as creative writing. Not an actual love letter to the character from the vendor.
I mean, I respect her as a PA. I already have Pei and Minami. I didn't even know it was a "she" LOL
But still, I don't feel comfortable with that love letter in the product description (scratching my head).
It probably doesn't help that the character is tagged 'Doll' in the model list in Daz Studio.
(I did read the description right away, because I find her little stories really intriguing. I thought this one was really sweet and interestingly ambiguous. Besides, it's nothing compared to the promo pictures that illustrated a creepy murder scene disguised as a trailer hangout, or the clothing promos with a dwarf stalker in the background....)
Where can I find the pink flamingo pool float used in the promo image and the similar duck pool float used in the Floyd 8 promo image. I searched for pool items and found some similar but not theses exact items. Thanks.

The inflatable pool toys for G8 is the item I was talking about that is similar, but I don’t think that’s it. The promo flamingo has a small wing which is different than the one this product has for the unicorn, and it doesn’t show anything about a duck that is in the Floyd 8 promo. Thanks for the help.

Thanks Leana, that is the flamingo float I was looking for. I don’t know if it can morph into the duck or not but it does have tail feathers that look like the duck float. Perhaps the duck head (neck and beak) may be achieved by morphs but the product description doesn’t mention it, so I am wondering if the duck float is a different item.
That one is a platform not a ring. Hey Studio3XL, start a new thread with a better title so we can get mores eyes on this from folks that may know. I would like to know what duck it is too!

Rarestone does have a life size doll. Life size. And yes, Rarestone said that Miya was based on this doll and she's been working on this character for several months. Having seen pictures of the doll, I can tell you that Rarestone totally captured the doll's likeness, its like she brought this doll to life. Its really stunning to see! It makes me wonder what her other characters might be based on.
I absolutely love what Rarestone is doing and I hope she has tons of success so she can keep making more. Not just her products, but her art, too. She is so insanely skilled. That promo art for her fairy outfit is so stunningly beautiful. Perhaps we could donate her some dolls for her next character creation???
I finally heard back from the support ticket that I submitted. They contacted the artist and found out that the duck float was made only for the promo image and is not a product that is for sale. I don’t know who the artist is, but if enough people expressed an interest in the float then maybe they would release it as a product for sale here at DAZ.
Yup, I was afraid this one was custom and not for sale, RareStone work is amazing!!
