Converting Objects to Backdrop or Instances?

I was looking for a scene that had an apartment complex with a pool but couldn't find anything like what I was looking for, so I carved together other props to get what I wanted. I have an interior apartment and outside is the common pool area (pool, chairs, umbrellas, etc.).

Most of my story is inside the apartment, but I want the pool area to be visible through the windows. The problem is that all the props outside of the interior are taking up lots of memory---rendering for 10 hours just to show a background seems like overkill. So is there a way to convert the pool area to a backdrop? Can I create it as an instance and save it, and if so how? Or any other suggestions?

Thanks very much in advance!

Maybe make a render of the view from the apartment ,and use that as a backdrop when you are doing an inside the apartment render
