Why are the polygons visible on V4 (Iray converted) and what can I do about it?

I did an Iray conversion of V4 - Warrior Maiden Ashe, and noticed in my final render that polygons are visible on the right hand, elbow and shoulder.  Why is this happening, and what can I do to fix it?

you can try applying sudivision and/or smoothing to the figure.

Yeah need to add some subdivision. I have to do this in octane as well for Genesis even.

Is that a setting in Daz?

Yeah. If a figure hasn't been converted to Sub-d you can convert it at Edit > Object > Geometry > Convert to Sub-d.

Then under properties tab > mesh resolution > View Sub-d Level, you can up the mesh resolution level.

...will adjusting the rendering SubD work?

yes, the 'View SubD' setting is independent from the 'render SubD'

..excellent as polygon based subD tends to make the mesh "heavier" and take up more memory resources.
