Anyone interested in this?

I am trying to make a set of “blank” textures for Genesis 8 female.  Basically something to clear off textures and what not for G8F so one can start texturing from scratch to create a new G8F character.  Maybe also a blank shader to use on other surfaces?

Not sure what you mean by blank textures. Ideally if creating a character you start with a merchant resource or use the templates to create your own. I already have quite a few reset surfaces scripts from various produces, so I am a bit confused about what this would be used for.

I was not aware of any reset surface scripts out there.  This is not a script, though, nor it is a replacement for a merchant resource texture set.

I have several reset surfaces srcipts, they usually come with shaders and not characters though. The Mec4D packs have several in them.

Couldn't one just load the grey G8F / G8M Dev models and save those as material presets? That would only leave the eyelashes unaccounted for.

And you can copy the mats from the other zones to the eyelashes.

Once DS decides to load up properly I will show you what I mean.

I use this all the time. It's excellent. I'm not sure it's quite what Miss Bad Wolf is thinking of, but it does serve nicely as a blank canvas for adding textures, and works well for maniquin/clay/plain figure renders.
