Magnet Node? (solved)

I don't remember what these are called. I just started using Daz3d and I used to use magnets back in the day with Poser but in Poser whenever I rendered a figure the magnets never appeared in the render but in Daz it always shows up? Is there anyway to hide this? I can't seem to select it without selecting the skirt in Daz3d nor can I delete it without deleting the skirt? Can anyone help please?

Those aren't magents, theya re body handles - bits of mesh to enable you to seelct a bone that will adjust the skirt. If you are using the clothing on the figure it was made for you should be able to select them and turn Visible in Render off in the Parameters pane, under Display. If you have converted the clothing to a new figure you will need to find their surface and set them to 0% opaque - there may already be a mat pose/preset to do that.

I converted it from a Victoria 4 to a Genesis 3 figure so that's one problem there. Also there's no way to grab it anymore by itself to turn visibility off without hiding part of the skirt something I already tired. What I didn't try was using it on a Victoria 4 model and trying to hide it there and the saving it as an outfit to try and convert it for my Genesis 3 character. One more thing? How do I find it's surface to set it opacity to zero? Are you talking about the menu items to select parts of it body? If so I've dug deep into that skirt and the only thing that turns it off is the part of the skirt it's pointing too.

You need to find the surface belonging to the handles (click on one with the Surface Selection tool) and in the Editor tab of the Surfaces pane set the Opacity and Specular Strength to 0.

I resolved it. I had to do what you said before and use it on the original Victoria 4 models first. There I was able to select all the nodes handles and set the opacity to zero for all of them. Then I save it as a wearable outfit preset and reapply it back to my Genesis 3 model. Thanks for the help!
