I can make arcs. But their values can't be set to precise values as by typing in the values to set the dimentions precesely.

How can this be done?

Example: Make an arc that veres to the right 90 degrees, begining at the precise tengent to the z axis.

Use a helper object and snap your arc to it.

    Thanks.

What I ended up doing is just "drawing" circles and deleting segments of the circles.

Like Ascania I use helper objects to overcome little problems. Primitive or lines can be to place things in the correct place.

    A couple examples -

Use a square, this will give you the points to snap an arc or circle from diameter. With the arc you choose the 1-3-2, in front view click on the left point of the square then drag to the right point and click, then move up/down and click when happy with the height.

If you want to place something at 0.0.0 - Create a cube, move it below ground level. In face mode, choose the top face and change the Y to 0. Use the Lay-On tool to place the object (the lowest face of the object) onto the cube face.

    Delete the helper when finished.

Sorry, yes. Use SHIFT to snap to a point.
