Hi, just a quick question about Decimator Plugin
Does the reduced mesh still have morphs?

Comments
Yes. You can still morph, pose, etc after decimation.
Horse on Right is decimated. (You can see the face is blown out, not as detailed as Horse 2 on Left)
The morphs still apply to the decimated horse.
Thank you!!! Can I ask you couple more phings please?
Can you just show what they will look like with Donkey morph applied please? And also the wireframe, just to see how it is reduced.
OK... Horse 2 is kind of different. He doesn't look quite as distorted as Genesis figures after Decimator... although that could be a species thing, and Horse 2 (post-decimation) might look alien to actual Horses...
Decimated on the Right. You can see it in the face (smoother, not so many details).
Wireframe... you can see the lower number of polys.
It is best, with decimator, I've noticed to stick to even percentages; such as 50%, 25% and usually 33%. I have fewer issues with 50% - however I rarely use it for anything but hair.
Thank you!!!!
I think it looks ok, I plan to use it only for level of detail, so the decimated mesh will only show up at a distance. I suppose they will look the same then.
I think I will buy it then.
Don't worry :)
Remember, once you've decimated the item, you'll need to I believe export it to save the decimation (or maybe just saving it as a new prop)
either way, just saving the scene won't save the decimation. Also, it can cause textures for that item to not work correctly.
