Why does most of my Smart Content look like this? (resolved)

I mean, one of the reasons I don't use Smart Content is because of stuff like this - it's just easier to avoid the frustration and use the regular Content Library. But if I want to install with Connect, these have to be showing as good to go and A LOT of them look like this. I have no idea why. Any ideas?

Smart content and installation via connect are two different things, so it is unlikely to be the cause of the issue

My point was if I want to install these items thru Connect on the Smart Content tab, they have to be showing as ok, and they aren't ;) I have no idea why they AREN'T ok :P When they look like this, I can double click them to install but nothing happens.

Had you edited the categorisation of the product in a previous (DIM or manual) install?

This is just a guess on my part, but have you entered your username and password into DS via the Connect/Login on the menu?

Without this, DS would have no idea what you own, and so would not be able to install them (or even tell you what can be installed)

It's the first time I see that but I notice you are in available tab. I use DIM and the only one thing rare for me is the icon that it showed. In my case the products are downloaded with DIM but they are not installed (grey pictures).

With the installed products the pictures are in color. The icons tell that are available thru Connect.

In your case that icons is like something like a fault with the metadata or the CMS is not running.

You could try resetting the database, to see if that helps. Since you do not use Smart Content, then in theory you have nothing to lose.

As a matter of interest, is there a specific reason that you want to install via DAZ Connect, rather than using DIM?

That worked!!! Thanks so much! :D

I'm using Connect because I want to pare down the size of my content folder...it's just so huge. LOL. So I decided I'll just install/uninstall things as I need them :)

    Thanks again!
