Dreamland has some tutorials for sale here:

3D Time Saver

Film Noir

They look very cool but I can't find reviews of them anywhere. Before I sink the cash, I'd like to hear some opinions.

Thoughts?

I have purchased quite a few of Dreamlight's tutroials and have rarely been disappointed.
The Film Noir tutorial is one of my all time favorites.
The videos are high quality and easy to follow.
Film Noir is really packed. I forget how many hours off the top of my head.
He really goes into depth on both indoor and outdoor lighting while throwing in some post-work and effects tips to boot.
Film Noir has a lot of dramatic lighting which I found to be so cool.

I haven't taken to 3D Time Saver, so I won't comment on that one way or the other.

If you have any more questions on the Film Noir course. Let me know. I'll be happy to try and answer.

I don't know if you have any other Dreamlight tutorials, but if you don't you should start with the 7 Steps To Great Art series, most of which are actually free at the moment. These will give you a flavour of his style.

I would also recommend the Light Master tutorials, and would concur with Ippotamus that the Film Noir set is also excellent and worth getting (though you might want to wait a bit to see if it goes on Sale).

In the Film Noir set he talks very widely about the subject, not just on a technical level, and he emphasises the importance of understanding the meaning of the image you are trying to create as a way of deciding how you are going to execute it.

I'd check out his free vids first to see if you can stand his teaching style. There is one here on saving time with 3d
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F79cgGPEU_k
You can also get a free membership to his website: http://www.dream-lounge.com/dreamlightclub/ he has a number of free videos and guides.

I'd recommend joining his mailing list (warning it is very high traffic) because he frequently has sales on his website which tends to be lower than his Daz prices. I've seen people say that they buy here because they are covered by the money back guarantee and I've seen other says that they found out the hard way that his stuff isn't covered by that. I don't know what the truth is about that.

I've personally taken his 3d pin up master - I paid around $20 on his website during a sale. It was also bundled with the light master course. Earlier this year and at Christmas he was doing a 21 item bundle which included most of his items and props for around $150. He might do that again at some point. I found the 3d pin up master really good, as a complete novice it really made me think about how i was setting up a scene. The only thing I would highlight is that he does waffle a lot. I put that down to him not being a native english speaker.
