Moving DS content folder

I’m sorry if this has been brought up before I can’t seem to find anything about this issue when searching the forums.

is it possible to move the DS content folder “my Daz library” from the default at install location to a another location on a different hard disk in my PC?  Example moving from C:/user/documents etc to E:/ drive?

I know at install DS goes to a default location  but since I have some projects cooking moving the content folder would probably blow everything up.

    You can definitely have your DS library on an onther drive.

    How do you install your content, DIM, Connect or manually?

    Hey Leana,

    Well both ways actually I use the DIM and manually. I'm still new to DS and lately I've been using the DIM because it seems easier.

    This subject comes up every month or so. Here is one thread I bookmarked that has some pretty thorough instructions. Moving RUNTIME from HD to External HD?

    One good rule to follow: Copy first, then confirm, then delete.
