The best render quality settings

Which settings should be used for the best quality regardless on how long it takes to render?
I recently found out about the pixel filter radius and set it to 1. But now there's also the noise filter which I haven't tried yet. Maybe there is more I don't know?

Pixel Filter radius = 1 will have different results depending on the filter used, and may not be the best value for any of the filters. Your results will also be dependent on the size of your typical render. If you tend to render smaller than 1080p sizes, you image may not have enough resolution to show differences in the filter types/settings.
