Genesis 8 bug?

When I lock the feet of a Genesis 8 male character, grab the hip in the viewport to move and position, it jumps automatically up to about a foot off the ground and the legs straighten. I have to pull the hip down so it reaches the ground every time. Does anyone else have this odd issue?
