Emissive panel no longer lights objects in Texture Shaded mode in the viewport

Emissive panel no longer lights objects in Texture Shaded mode in the viewport.  Works when rendered.  Emissive objects used to work in Texture Shaded mode.  I did a complete reset, but no love.  I can preview in the IRAY mode but that is a bit time consuming.  Any ideas?

    Emissive lights only work in Iray and have never worked in any other modes so I don't know what you were seeing as light from the Emissive lights.

    I think you may have been seeing the default "camera light", which is auto, when no lights are present in the scene. (An emissive surface is not a "light", in OpenGL.)

    Or...

    You were using an "improvised", Daz default light, with "photometrics" turned on, which is not exactly an emissive surface, but it sort-of is. (It is both an OpenGL light, and a converted emissive light-origin.) {Essentially an internal hack of a light.}

    If you had IRAY preview on, that would show any emissive surfaces, because you are "rendering" the scene. OpenGL can only display 8 light-sources. (It takes special code to simulate more lights.) That is the default light-sources simulations for scene editing. It is real limited and has no actual representation to the rendered output, because they just don't seem to care about tweaking it to match values.
