'Everyday Groceries' update: a tip o' the hat to maclean!

I fired up DIM to download the latest PC+ freebies and found an update for maclean's 'Everyday Groceries', originally released in 2011. How many PAs would revisit a 7-year-old product and add Iray textures? No fuss, no fanfare, just:"Here you go."

I think that's an exceptional commitment to customer satisfaction, and just wanted to express my appreciation.smiley

Thank you for your kind words! I didn't know it was out yet.

I do like to update products, especially when they're 'evergreen'. I mean groceries don't change much, and the pack still sells well today. However, I had another reason for doing it - Everyday Groceries 2 is on the way. A 2nd pack with different groceries, and things like morphing contents, etc. So I didn't want the original pack to be put to shame by the new one. LOL.

I thank you too.  I use the product a lot so I was really excited to see it with Iray.  I’m looking forward to set number 2.

I haven't checked for an update yet, but this sounds great! Thanks. Here is a link to Everyday Groceries, for anyone interested in buying now that it has Iray materials.

There are only three of Mac's Everyday series that I don't have. Yet. I find these products so useful. I'm really looking forward to Groceries 2, and greatly appreciate the Iray update on the original.

I do not own the Everyday groceries, but thanks a lot for updating your Streets some weeks ago for free.

Maybe there'll be an update for your room creator/ exterior some day (I would even pay for this) ? smiley

Great news, thanks. I've got most of the Everyday stuff as well, and any addition to the series — whether an Iray conversion or something completely new — would be very welcome.

Thanks for the update, and for making all the "Everyday" products. I love having things like that to fill out my scenes.

Here's a link to an image of a morphing soya sauce bottle from Everyday Groceries 2.

This was just a quick test to illustrate the technique, so it's nothing fancy, but I was mightily pleased to overcome the huge problem of morphing a bottle with curved sides. (And I don't take credit for it. A rather awesome DAZ employee figured it out for me).
