Quick .obj Question

If I download or create an .obj file, I know I have to Import it into DS, possibly resize it, then apply the textures myself.

However, here's my question:  What do I then save the object as in DS so that I can search for it in my runtime, and load it up with sizing and textures already applied?

Thank you, that saves it, but it doesn't come up as searchable, not that I can figure out anyway.  Is there no way to make it searchable?

You would have to create your own metadata I think in order to make it searchable.  I dont use smart content so I dont know to be honest.

Just a tip on importing your models.  If you find that after its in DS, you need to scale it up or down, instead of trying to save a scaled copy, look at how much you scaled it and go back to your modeler and scale it there so that it imports in at what will be 100% in Daz Studio.  This way you dont reset the scale by accident or what not when using it in the future.

Ok, I was afraid of that.  Oh well, they're keeping their size and colors, so mission mainly accomplished!

    Thanks FSMCDesigns and Mattymanx!!!  ^_^
