Searching the Forums..how do I do that?

I am posting this here even though I have been a user and visitor to the forums for some time now.

But, How do you search for things in the forums?  I know the Search Forums box in the upper right corner is there for that purpose but just HOW does it work?

I can't seem to really search for anything specific. If I enter Skin Pro, for example I get back a search that has the word skin and pro from every post ever submitted.

This seems terribly inefficient and, frankly, useless.

Can anyone shed some light or provide some instruction on this topic?

It might be worth pinning it to the top of the forum too for others to find.

Thanks.

  • It doesn't seem avery good search, no - a lot of us use a standard search engine with site:www.daz3d.com/forums as one of the terms.

Sadly, Google seems to be more effective at searching our forums than the search function is. laugh

The first page of my Art Studio thread has an entire list of tips, tutorials, and general information and it's alphabetically arranged. I included links to YouTube videos, etc. and it covers many forum topics from 2013 to present.

Have you tried putting your search term in quotes?
