Where can I find and buy this model?

I write a series of science fiction books called Spinward Fringe and I've been looking for the model that this ship is rendered from so I could do some cover and advertising work for future books. I got the image from Adobe Stock Photo, but can't get through to whoever made it. So, has anyone seen this model for sale anywhere? I'll paypal whoever can find it $10.00 once I've bought it from the source, because I'm at a loss.

Hmmm, took a quick gander, didn't spot it.  Tineye was no help.

HOWEVER, I came across this guy.  He does mostly 3D art, but he lists Daz Studio and Carrara as part of his toolkit.  A lot of the models he does aren't too far off from the basic lines of the image above...

    And his starship gallery:

He says he does commissions, so if you can't find the exact model showcased, or are just looking for something 'close' to the image above, maybe this guy can come up with something for you...

Also, there's some interesting looking stuff in .obj and other formats on turbosquid...

Also stumbled across this one.  It's not the same, but it's pretty...

Can't help with the ship, but your series sounded familiar. Then I realised I read the first few books on my Kindle some years ago (think it was an omnibus edition?) Looks like you've written a lot more since then, so I guess I've got some catching up to do!

Would this be close enough, in case you are unable to locate your first choice? You can get it for $2.25 this weekend (with any additional purchase).

Thanks for the directions and for taking a look. I bought something that'll work from Pixelsquid for my next cover. I'd still love to find that ship, so I'll keep looking.

Thanks for bringing this one up. I've had it for about a year or so (maybe longer), and it doesn't work for what I'm doing, sadly. I'll probably use it in illustrating some other stuff eventually though.j

Very cool to see you found me on your Kindle. There is an updated version of that book (out last year), if you care to redownload it from your web dashboard before you dive in. Hope you enjoy it, the first book (Broadcast 0: Origins) has some of my more optimistic work in it.

Welcome! I picked up Broadcast 0 some years back free on kindle then promptly picked up Broadcast 1-7 (holy cow that was back in 2013. I've got a lot of catching up to do!)

It looks like it might be the side view of the 1 ship in this group

Yes, it seems to match the "Light Fighter" from that set.

  • Thank you to everyone who stopped and looked around, I actually didn't expect to find this. Now I get to mess with it an eventually put together seme promo graphics, not to mention a couple book covers.

Thanks again, I love the community here.

Can't wait to see (and read) what you do with it :)

You don't owe me anything, plus I wasn't the one that found it for you in any case.  Just happy to help!
