Television pictures..

I have the product Zemith television and a couple of other TV's in my runtime and what I'm curious about is how do I alter the materials so that it looks like a backlight television picture...  I know how to get the screen to light up with an emissive glow but how to I light up the pictures?

put the image you want to show into the emissive channel of the shader - like the diffuse channel - and experiment with light strength till it looks the way you like.

may need to adjust, depending on the UV layout

You put the image in the Emissive channel too and lumens at 5 then adjust up or down.

Perfect.. I also had to make a lot of adjustments to make the picture fit the screen but I figured that out.. It's rendering at the moment but I just wanted to say thanks for the point in the right direction... :)  The adjustments have had a very interesting artifact result but it actually works on the dated Zemith television .. gives it a brilliant dated look.. happy accidents always make great art.. LOL
