1080ti stops working during rendering and dforcing
Hello,
One month ago, I bought a Gigabyte 1080ti Aorus Extreme edition. I put latest drivers 391.01 and started rendering. At first everything was working properly. But as the days were passing my card started to have problems during rendering. Most of the times it stopped working and I was getting a message like this: 'Your driver 391.01 stopped working and restored successfully'. It was getting worse every day and then I couldn't even do dforcing, especially with non-dforced clothing items. Now only about 3 out of 10 renders and dforcing attempts are successful. I upgraded the drivers to 391.24 but I still have the same problems.
I tried my card in some games as GTA V or even a little cryptocurrency mining and no problems there. It seems that it is only Daz's problem.
Do you have any suggestions about what to do?

Given the loss of stability over time my first thought would be a heat issue due to a failing or poorly-seated fan, but I would have thought that that would affect currency mining too.
Try driver 388. The "newest, latest" Nvidia drivers aren't always the best bet.
Also, an Iray render will stress your card more than GTA will.
Thank you both for your answers. It seems that it's not a heat problem since the temp is not going over 70 C. I will try 388 drivers later to see if that's the problem.
I wouldn't completely discount the heat issue; sometimes expansion as a component heats up causes a loss of contact. So although it wouldn't be a heat issue, but due to lack of contact somewhere.
Try unplugging the card, then plug it back in and reconnect everything - this presumes you are happy doing so. Make sure to earth yourself beforehand and isolate any mains power, which outside of the PSU you wouldn't normally get in a PC.
