Hi, can anyone help me. I am trying to render Sakura 8 but the lighting wont work and she comes out with dark skin whereas the parasol is bright .

Any ideas what I am doing wrong.

Under materials, iray, feminine, there is a translucency low icon.  Try that, if you have not already.

The parasol is probably blocking the light. Try putting a spotlight on her from below the parasol.

will do, the parasol seems really bright

it lightened her skin but made the parasol white
