I had a hard drive failure and I got everything up and running EXCEPT I have TWO copies of the runtime folder. One version is under user PUBLIC and the other one is under my login. Thus taking up twice as much space as needed. Can I removed one of those folders without messing anything up? Is so, whch one?
Thanks in advance.

Try taking one and putting it on your desktop then run the program and see if it runs and things load with no problems, that will tell you if you can get rid of one. Also there might be things in the extra that are not in the main, and my first thought would be to merge them if the first suggestion shows you only need one.
You would expect to have a Runtie ein both places, but with diffrent files in them.
How do I figure out which files go where? A lot of them are being repeated which is eating up a lot of disk space. I only have DAZ on this computer and it is using OVER two-thirds of a terabyte.
Thank you. I like the merge idea.
I suggest you copy that one you plan to merge in case it does not work, that way you can put it back if things go wrong
Copy the merge into or the merge from or both?
I would copy the public one to your desktop, then merge the public one into your profile one.
Run Daz, if it loads figures and items without issue, delete the copy off your desktop.
If it does not work, move your profile one to where the public one was and try Daz again.
If it works this time, you can still delete the copy from your desktop as all files from both folders are in the one you copied from your profile after the merge from before.
