Yes.
yep
Ugh. Well I'm not buying Ollie anyway, but I hope the annoying popup doesn't start showing up on other pages, or on these special promo pages every time a new character is released.
I glared it and nearly clicked away the page, until I realised I could click away the pop up button. It does return every time you go to that page, but atleast it can be removed during hte time you are there
I'm getting it too. I've seen it before in other sale pages.
Right, you can, but annoying nonetheless since every time you return to that page you have to close it.
I've been here since 2005 and have never seen it. I was so surprised! Guess I've been lucky to not see it before this.
Stuff like this is why I still run script blockers on the DAZ site.
Never seen this kind of pop up button, but there was a sale a while ago.. don't quite remember which it was but think christmas or the one before that, that also had a similar kind of thing popping up. Annoying than too but not as "in your face" as this one is.
And yes Sapat, I'm not fond of it either, just happy one can atleast click it away for the time one visit the page :)
The button is poorly coded. It doesn't recognize when you are, in fact, at the bottom of the page and there is no more content farther down.
Thought about sending a ticket, but I'm pretty sure they know it's there. Hate to have to keep closing it, but I guess it's all we got right now.
Yep, and I hope it never reappears.
Well, this is the second time I've seen it (first time was during the December sales, maybe earlier), and it's just as annoying. Whose bright idea was this, I wonder? Does anyone think it's actually useful to have? The only people I've come across who can't figure out what a scroll bar with the place marker way at the top means are complete beginners who've never sat down at a computer before — I've taught some of them — and it doesn't take long for the idea to sink in.
Send the ticket. If enough of us do, maybe they'll get the message.
I'm doing it now.
Just finished doing it this minute. We'll see what the response is.
