Just lost all products

Hi, so I was playing around with a new G8 figure, had added some wardrobe and hair, mixing in a bit of G3 content. Then I was going to pose the character and happened to decide that I wanted to try a G3 pose so I turned off filter by content and DAZ crashed (sadly, a too frequent occurrence for what is otherwise a great app).
On reopening, I noticed that the products tab for smart content is now completely empty. The files show up fine on the files tab, but nothing in products. It's been ages since I've mucked around with the CMS DB, what's the correct process for refreshing the content from my installed metadata?

Is PostgreSQL still linking? If not you'd get a complaint when DS started.
Not seeing any errors on start up and I do get the products in the content library, so it's just the products tab in smart content that seems to be messed up.
I bit the bullet and did a DB rebuild, that put all my products back into the install area which looked intimidating at first but it's going quickly so it seems to be more just processing the files I already have rather than having to redownload them.
Yes, a reset does force the system to check the files against the servers for Connect installs.
It was a bit heavy-handed, but it's been ages since I'd done any DB maintenance so not exactly the end of the world. Still waiting for everything to finish installing.
