    Remember we are all limited. There are countless animals better than us in nearly every way.

    Mantis shrimp can see far more than we can, eagles can see far further. Beagles have much better olfactory sense, bats and many animals have better hearing. Flying, running, holding breath, managing deep pressure.

    And even within the strict realm of humans, some humans see better than most, see more colors, hear better, scent. Long runners, speed runners, humans adapted to cold or deep dives, high altitude.

     

    Remember that we are all handicapped, and that ‘able bodied’ is just an arbitrary line.

    I think we all too often overlook the thing that humans do far better than any other creature and that is have an honest innocent harmless laugh. That's something that brings far more to life than money, talent, or being the 'best of' at anything.
