I missed my buyers bonus

I feel like the whole buyers bonus thing is awfully done... I completely missed that I get a freebie...

so I have to make a purchase and then go back to the sales page to see I have something I can get?

why would I go back to the sales page when I just bought something... grrrr

    Wait, you get a freebie? I thought if you bought something within the past 3 days you 70% off one of a handful of items?

    I haven't seen a freebie, other than the current $20 off DO for buying 3.

    There was a "buy 2 MM item, get 1 Asian-themed product free" during the first week of the sale.

    from what I understood in that thread if you made a purchase within 3 days you could claim a buyers bonus free item?

    It would be nice that if you meet the requirements for a special discount or free item, then at checkout a new window would pop up and inform you or something. (kind of like Marco's Pizza website does with it's free movie rental if you have an order above a certain amount)

    isnt she still at 70% off? she is in my store..but you probably have to buy something from new or still new ... then it will show up again.every 3 days you need to buy something

    I'm making a big purchase today so I'll probably get her.. But I'm still grumpy about it.

    Actually, you picked a great time to do it. Up until now the bonus buyer items have been offered one at a time, but because of the catch up sale they're all available at once. If you make your purchase (including a new release), then go back to the sale page, there should be a new section for you called "Bonus Madness Offer". That section will have all the items that people have been talking about getting at a discount. The 70% off will show in your cart. I assume that after the catch up sale none of them will be available on sale anymore and we'll probably switch to a new bonus item.

    If you're not eligible for a bounes item, it won't show on your initial screen (March Madness). Similarly, if you are eligible, but have already purchased the item, the Bonus item heading/section will appear but will be empty.

    One typically becomes eligible for Bonus items based on previous purchases or specific items. You know, they're bonuses.
