Dynamic Cloth issue

Hello,

Does anyone have good knowledge of how Dynamic cloth works? I have been trying for a while now to get the cloth to lay smoothly on my Micheal 4 model with no success. I have adjusted the gravity settings and the "Collide with..." settings to only select what areas the cloth is going to touch and it still looks terrible. (See photo) Any tips would be appreciated! :-) I'm using DAZ Studio 4.6 Pro.

Thanks!

I'm afraid I'm not much of a help here. Just went for a different approach:
First I used the Dynamic Tablecloth, when I realized that it's not a freebie, I used the Bettie Page Drape (freebie page 13).
Because it it no use scaling dynamic stuff, I parented the matress to Michael and scaled Michael to some 70%.

If you use animation you can use other objects, e.g. small cylinder primitives, to "guide" the cloth more into the place that you want it. It's a bit of an art, and you will have to use your imagination and experiment a bit, but it will pay off.

Tjeb, it seems that your cloth render turned out better than mine. :-)

Cayman, I never thought of using animation to drape the cloth. I am going to give that a try. Thank you!!
