Hi guys :) i'd like to make some animations myself and be able to save them.

All I need is this product? https://www.daz3d.com/animate2

Or is there anything else I need?

I'd love to know before the sale ends hehe

Thank you <3

Edit> I saw these at the store too, do i really need them or can i do everything with Animate2?

I don't have Animate2 so can't comment on that, but if you want to do animations in the timeline (not using aniblocks) you will need the keymate /graphmate plugins. Well you CAN do without them but they will save you a lot of headaches and time;)

I only have the animate light free version but IIRC you can save timeline animations as aniblocks which then can be loaded into animate. Frankly I very much prefer working with the timeline. Others that have more experience with working with aniblock and animate 2 may tell a different story;)

  • I have all 3 and it's best to get them if you want to do animation in DAZ Studio. You can't beat the price right now.

  • You should bring Vivienne and Rachel to life! They look good! I think I might buy Vivienne this weekend.

Good day, Yes you need Animate2 for the ability to save your own aniblocks. Keymate is very useful for subtle changes to the timing and positioning (very useful). Graphmate is more technical and needed when you have serious problems (yes it does happen - for me it is usually with camera movement). I would recommend all three if you are going to do animation.  As a side note: also learn to use the Puppeteer feature: it has helped me a lot along the way for custom posing. You find most of us here that creat animations have all 3 of the Gofigure animate plugins to create keyframe animations & to use aniblocks with daz studio, it just makes it easier

Make sure you share your animations when your done :)

Good animations, it must be complex to animate a horse AND a knight at the same time! :O

So cute!!! How long did it take you to render the whole film? I tried a short rotation rendering (iray) and didn't let it finish cause it was taking a long time haha
