Applying the the proper combination of MCasual scripts
I have found that using the combination of Horzontilize, mcj toeBased Foot Pose and mcj Toe Walker I can almost perfectly stabalize the the feet for G3 for any of my coverted MMD motions. Getting rid of the "ice skating in place" effect. (Sometimes one foot remains a bit high in places during animation) But, the end result does look very stabalized. The problem remains though that the hip migrates causing the character to look like they are side stepping in direction to the right side of the screen. If the character lifts feet or kicks high in the animation these scripts do not interfere with that motion, but the hip migrates even though feet have been adjusted.
I have also used autolimb to nail the feet in place which looks fine but I do lose some of the original animation and I get a bit of jerkiness throughout the spine because some of the big sweeping motions were stiffled by autolimb.
I have stayed away from hip based pin or move hip to pin this because I wanted to maintain a bit of hip swaing to the music during the animation.
Has anybody been able to find just the right combination of MCJ scripts that will allow the stabalization of the slipping and sliding without losing some of the crucial leg movement in the imported in a bvh file? Most of my animation imports are way up above the 9000 frame mark, so trying to fix groups of 10 to 20 frames in various places along the timeline would way to tedious to make that technique worth it. Generally MCJ scripts will apply the adjustments to the entire length of the animation, but finding the right scripts to apply is the challenge for me right now. Thanks!
By the way what is the size limit in the forum to attach an AVI file?
