Do I need any licences for using renders in games?

Hey there! :)

I'm planning to create a little game with Game Maker VX Ace and would like to use some rendered pics for game-sprites/tilesets/ingame-scenes, I've created.

So... do I have to own any licences and do I have to credit the articles I've used for my renders?

Many thanks in advance! yessmiley

You just need the basic license (the one you get when you buy something on Daz) - then you can use the 2D renders any way you like.

You only need an interactive license if you want to redistribute 3D-mesh data, texture files, etc.

In either case, no credit is required (though I'm sure some PAs would appreciate it)

Edit: This applies to things bought from Daz - licensing from other stores and especially from freebies may vary.
