Be careful, purchased items not showing as purchased!

I remember that two of the first products I bought here when I first joined ages ago were Ginger and Georgia hair. They are so old, I probably would not have purchased them again anyway but I was surprised when they showed up as not being purchased. When I checked my product library, they do show as purchased. For people who have a lot of content, especially old content, that they may not remember buying, this is dangerous because you could inadvertently buy something you already own!

The Ginger hair in the store has a release date 2 years after your purchase date (2007 instead of 2005). Check the SKU ids of your product compared to the new one. My guess is the product was pulled from the store sometime between 2005-2007, and then came back with a new SKU. Since it is a DO, maybe DAZ acquired it from the previous PA and then re-released it.
I guess, but it would be easy to make a mistake and buy it again (if it didn't look so old, although I remember it rendering much better than the promos.) I think they raised the price enormously since I purchased it, I know I never would have have purchased it for the current price! I rarely spent more than $5.00 for something back then. I'm thinking it may have even been a PC item. Looking at all these older hairs I own, I'm pretty sure they were MUCH cheaper back then!
At one time when Daz purchased an item, changing it from a PA set to a Daz original, it was pulled and then rereleased as a new item with a new SKU - which usually stopped it from showing as purchased. You could open a support ticket to point this out, and they may be able to link the two in a way that makes sure it is marked (there may already be some kind of link to make sure both get updated).
OK thanks. I already have so many other issues to report and they make it harder and harder having to put in so much information on each ticket...
Make sure you are logged in to ZenDesk, I usually have to click the LogIn button at the top. That at least should avoid needing to enter name and email.
No, it's all the other stuff, order number, order date, PayPal number, a bunch of other questions to fill out and track down...
And even if you do fill out they rarely actually respond. After submitting a techinical support request about a product that is not working when installed with DIM, I got a message that it would take up to 10 days to respond.
They have to be able to reliably duplicate the error, and then if and when they can do that they need to work out the fix. It does all take time.
I purchased a HDRI that is pixelated and a character with very visible seams. Not sure if I should contact technical support or sales... I would rather not return them, just have them fixed.
If you want them fixed use a Techncial Support ticket, but you could add a note that if they can't be made acceptable you will want a refund so that that is on record.
OK thanks
I remember accidentally making a double purchase once. I think it was the long time dead character. I was just starting out with Daz and had already forgotten I bought that and was looking for zombies for my 2D game. I hadn't realized I wasn't logged in when I found the character and added it to my cart.
When I went to check out, Daz asked me to log in, so I did and made my purchase. Then I couldn't figure out why DIM wasn't showing anything new to install... LOL
