yes, @Linwelly is correct, I did use the top from the Hood Huntress set, but the materials are a tweaked version of Atenais' shaders "Ripped Burlap".  hope that helps!

Thanks. I really like that. My skills aren't that big so i have to see if i can create something similar.

Tweaking a material is a very basic thing depending on how complex you want the material to be. Select the item you want to edit. Then go to the surfaces/rendering tab and all the material zones for that object are listed. You can either edit the individual parameters as you like, or just apply a specific shader to it/them.

@patrick.dewijs Thanks so very much - I'm glad you like it :)  And as FSMCDesigns said, it really isn't very difficult the change the material - especially on that particular top!  Give it a try!!

I will give it a go. Have to find some nice materials i want to use. Thinking of some knited materials. Something in the image below so if anyone has an idea im open to suggestions.

You can always search the web for a seamless texture, apply it and then tile it. For added detail, make a copy of the same texture, lower the saturation to o and turn into a bump map.

For Iray shaders, the sets by Mec4D have lots of one click options for cloth, metal, plastic, leather, etc. There are a ton of other iray shaders in the store really cheap also.

    Some knit shaders

Nice! You can also select the material and then go to the surfaces and rendering tab and scroll down to where it says horizontal tiles and vertical tiles and change the number to get a finer design.

    thanks

Can i use alpha mapping on my shaders?  I went deliberatly with a more rougher design. I would have liked it even more if some skin was showing trough. Not sure if thats possible with the shaders im using now though.

Sure, but remember that the alpha will tile as well if you tile it and could create an undesired effect
