I've had a bug before where G8F looked kinda off, I'm not sure again as I didn't use G8F for a long time. Does she really look like this?

That looks normal to me. The base model isn't particularly fancy.

    me too

  • Not seeing anything. Looks normal. If yuo think something is dialed in, right click the properties tab and select Zero >Zero Figure.

not sure about DS, but in Poser the camera focal distance changed even the shape of the head.

It does in DS too if you change it too much (well, Focal Length does anyway :P). I usually use the default for full body shots and raise the focal length number as I get closer to the head (I sometimes use as much as 90 and even 100 sometimes).

Yep.  The face will look wrong if you zoom in on it at focal length 65.  I've gone as high as 110 for closeups on individual facial features.

yes..thats what i used in Poser ... 105/110. I will try that in DS. Perhaps everything will change and some of those characters I think look so different in the promos will look right laugh

Looks normal to me, but I've had that same issue where for some reason other morphs get saved with the base Genesis figures. To be sure it's the right shape without any added morphs try going to the shaping tab, right click and go to "zero" >> "zero figure shape".
