Problem with dForce Long Coat Outfit Textures?-(Answered)

Anyone else having problems with https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-long-coat-outfit-textures when trying to apply a different texture to the Long Coat?
The pants, shirt and shoe textures work fine for me, but not for the coat. I have submitted a bug report, as it looks to me to be an error in the product.

Are you using the coat on Genesis 8 Male? That looks like a Hierarchical Materials preset, which will look for the figure the item was parented when it was saved.
No, I had just the outfit loaded. Now I added Edward and it works. For G8M and G8F, but not for G3M. And that's a little troubling. I can see that this is because it's for dForce, but I had hoped to use the coat on other figures, without having to manually re-texture the coat. Disappointing, but not a dealbreaker.

Edit: Amended bug report to show "Solved" status.
With the coat loaded on Edward save as a Material Preset, and then you can use this with any non-G8M characters.
