@nonesuch00 its likely post.  Nikfilters, I have a standard group for the Color FX that I use that applies like 4 filters at a go.

Is this a younger version of your "go to" model? He looks quite a bit different, but definitely hot!

Hey everyone. I'm just popping in to see what kind of interest ther is in having the Raining Men Contest again. I've been super busy since June and I haven't been on the forums as much as I should be so I'm kind of out of touch. I have way too many projects and not enough time type of stuff going. However, I'll still run the contest again this year if everyone thinks there will be enough interest. So, lay it on me, give me your thoughts. Because if we're going to do this I need to start soliciting prizes in October.

You might find that it gathers more interest if its left in the Commons rather than hidden away in the Art forum.

I agree totally! Unfortunately, for the second annual and subsequent contests, Daz or Daz Mods told KM to put the thread in the Art Studio forums; Said that's where it belongs.
    sad

    Did they give a reason?

Art studio is the venue for Render threads and render challenges if they are not in the specific app forum (ie the New User, Bryce and Carrara challenges).    The Commons is to "Discuss anything Daz 3D related not covered by any other forum here."

Ok - but may I ask why are there still some render threads here in the commons and also several threads that have nothing to do with Daz 3d related subjects at all.

    Various reasons

Ok- not really much of an explanation; but is it possible to apply one of those reasons to the raining men contest so it be left in the commons.

Contests go in the Art Studio.  Even Totte's long running RRRR contests are now held in the Art Studio.  The only ones which are not in the Art studio are those which are in dedicated forums,  so Bryce in Bryce forum, Freebie in freebie forum etc. The only other Exception would be a Contest run by Daz itself.

This off topic convo should now end here and allow this thread to go back to Male renders.

Traditionally, the contest starts November 1 and goes through December 31. @Knittingmommy hasn't said yet, but I expect the dates will be the same this year.

@mal3Imagery, My first thought was a new model, but then I thought he could also just be younger. Anyway, he's gorgeous, and I hope we see him again. (And again…!)

  • Going through a tester.

As L'Adair says, the contest has always been run from November 1 to December 31st. This year's contest will be the same. I'll be drumming up prizes this month so you can expect to see more about the contest in the upcoming weeks. I'll be posting the thread with all the rules on November 1 in the Art Studio.

Let's just say, this isn't the image I originally had in mind.  But, who really cares...

@Serene Night - I succumbed and bought the shorts yes

Joel, Tim and Charlotte's pretty boyfriend André tend to end up in the shadows of all the girls they share their everyday environment with.

Thanks, Mr Wolff.  SereneNight found the shorts, the ears make it difficult wearing hats and, as for the boots, they're part of "traveler-for-genesis-3-males" with my own textures.

That looks great Butch! I bought that set when it came back intending to genderbend it, and you did a nice job. =-)

Thanks.  Yeah, the female poses are the usual girlie foot up and bottom out.  The pose also shrinks the female to 93-ish%.  This image, I brought the kissee back to 100% and adjusted the kisser's left arm a bit.
