This started out mainly as a test of the new body hair for G8M in the store, but I kept messing with it until I got something I liked. Maybe not completely polished, but enough for a portrait.

    Vintage

While the jacket looks a bit tight on him ( smiley ), but the cloth texture folds look excellent! Great image!

    Thanks!

I really like that Darwin’s and his horse is nicely posed. Most 3d horses look pretty bad to me but yours is excellent good work.

I second what Serene says, @DarwinsMishap. I feel like I'm looking at a photo. With the mane on the other side, even the bald spot on the Daz Horse doesn't give it away as a render. Not to mention how gorgeous the character. Lorenzo, right? I love this family you've created…

Woo I've actually finished a render! (been having computer issues, I finally gave in and got a new one 6 whole gb of gpu I feel so fancy)

Cycles render. Fun fact that background has almost 0 materials tweaking by me... the diffeomorphic plugin even sets up the emmisive materials which is insane.

Like the render Butch the front bent leg of the horse looks very strange to me....

  • AlmightyQUESTAlmightyQUEST Posts: 2,006
Oh, there's a horse in that render too...

That is a good render Butch.

    indecision, thanks and thanks

Alas, @RAMWolff , no matter how I position the leg, it looks wrong in the render.  Just avert your gaze to one of the other five legs and you'll be fine wink

Something to take @RAMWolff mind off the previous wonky leg.

I thought I'd stop lurking for a bit and mention how much I love the images you guys have been posting. Lots of drool-worthy men. I may have to switch to a cloth handkerchief as I'm going through paper towels awfully fast…
    wink

Well, except for the guy in the jock strap. A well done character and render, but I admit, he didn't make me drool. lol But there is no denying the body hair looks really good.

I'm a little bumbed that there isn't a new male character release this week. However, I did complete some pictures of male characters. I really liked how this one turned out using Lee 7.

And here's a biker for the thread.  Thanks to the RIP males thread, I didn't realise I hadn't bought Streetwear.

I am going to complain slightly, as a biker myself for a while and having had a brother who was a life long biker, I am going to say that he is not a biker - he is a cyclist

Have to agree with Pam. Having been a Rocker, Mod and cyclist he is definately not a biker ????

Hereabouts it’s bicyclist or bike rider.

Hi Butch,  Love the render..  I LOVE the background.  Is that an HDR Map and if so what and where can I get that?  If it's a scene, what and where can I get it?  The leaves are a great touch!
