Genesis 3 & Face Gen: Adding a map to Anatomical Elements

Hi.

I've been making characters with Face Gen, mainly for Genesis3F/M.

There are a couple of models (both male and female), who I'm trying to add Anatomical Elements to.

I know on older Genesis figures, the Anatomical Elements maps were copied from the pelvis/hip, and pasted into the Anatomical Elements part of the surface tab. With G3 figures, I'm pretty sure it's the torso map that get's copied and pasted onto the Anatomical Elements part of the surface tab. But when I do this, it displays the entire torso map, instead of whatever normally happens when you add a models diffuse map to the Anatomical.

I'm sorry if I haven't described it very well, but (as you know) I can't post pictures of what's happening.

Thanks for any help.

  • Are you asking about how to make your new gens texture blend properly into the torso? If so there is a freebie called Genital Texture Helper at Renderotica that you can use with Map Transfer to remape the torso texture to the the proper place on the edges of the gens.

For G3F you can use this freebie from CaymanStudios......"It derives the texture from the torso texture as previous generations of Genesis have done."
