Advice Needed! Installing Ron's Stuff?

Just updated to a copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2018 and it's quite different to how my older version functioned.

With that in mind, for my series of Deviney's/Ron's products, would it be better to try and install the 'CC' or 'CS' brushes (not sure of the differences)? And how do I go about installing 'styles' and 'custom shapes' into PE 2018?

My thanks in advance!

  • I would extract the files to a location on your drive of your choosing, then manually add them as needed into your PS/PE version via the interface, i.e. load your brush files via the brushes menu, styles via the styles menu, etc.

    Not locating a 'Styles' menu.

Confused with some of the products and which files I should download, too. 'Ron's Blood 2', for instance, has files meant for PSD, "CS and up", as well as "CS6". Wouldn't CS 6 be 'CS and up' by definition?

Styles are part of your pallettes on the side, and if you do not see it there you can open it by going to the top 'window' menu dropdown and clicking on it in the list.

Generally I drop the files directly into their respective folders in the adobe photoshop folder (photoshop/presets/... ) and then load them from there as descibed above by Xeno.

I don't think Elements has a Styles panel. I think that's Photoshop only.
