Clothing Causing Figure to Become Translucent

I recently switched back to using 3Delight. I'm using the Genesis 3 female, and I am finding that if I dress her she goes see-thru. This has happened twice now, once with the Ghost Bride dress and now again with a mashup of Relentless Mercenary, the Army uniform, and the gloves from Elektra. Hair does not seem to have any affect, just clothing. I am using either shaders or texture settings appropriate for the render engine. I am using DS version 4.9.4.117 on a Windows 10 machine.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?

This is in renders? Does the transparency stay if you remove the clothes from the scene?
This sounds like a problem I had in DS 4.10.0.101 Beta - I raised a ticket but Tech Support were unable to reproduce the problem. I upgraded to DS 4.10.0.118 and simultaneously updated my video drivers and found the problem had disappeared. Whether it was the DS version or the video drivers (can't really see why that would matter for 3Delight renders) I don't know.
My problem occurred with clothing with a smoothing enabled - is that the case for your problem clothing? Mine rendered perfectly in Iray but in 3Delight the figure went transparent. Disabling smoothing took the problem away (but of course could result in poke-through). Here are images of what I was getting with/without smoothing.
Richard: Yes, it's in renders. Everything looks fine in the preview window, it just renders weird. The transparency goes away if I either unparent the clothing or make it invisible.
MelanieL: You seem to have discovered the solution. The pants I had on my character had smoothing on. I turned that off and she is magically visible again. Fortunately, in this case, there is no poke thru.
Thank you both for responding.
Is DoF on for your camera? If you turn it off does that help?
No, DoF is not on. What I am experiencing looks just like what MelanieL shows in her image samples. The clothing, props and hair render perfectly fine, but the human figure turns into a ghost.
