I always simply assumed that it must have been deviney himself.
Ron did mention one of the artists in a previous post, I bookmarked that artists website, but I am at work just now. If you track down Ron's posts on the forum you might be able to track down the name
AFAIK Ron has a few people who do images for him
One of them is credited on the Flying Dirt and Debris Particles product page.
