Macro wet maps for iray?

Stumbled across this product. Didn't know what it was or how it was done....

This looks like the BEST idea for wet characters as it's drops of water and not just the sheen.

1) Does this need iray or does it work on the UV maps (am I saying that right?) and the render engine doesn't matter???

Macro Wet Maps is a map and custom shader combination for Genesis 2 Female and Genesis and the 3Delight render engine -

So, doesn't iray convert the materials so this may work with iray..?

2) There seems to be no further products in this direction. Can I use this on Gen 3 characters and what happens if I do? And or Gen 8???

And are there any products that have tried this before?

Most of my wet character products add gloss and sparkles to their skin.

The drops depend strongly on the bump and displacement in 3DL, i don't think you will be able to get the same effect in Iray, because you need actual mesh for both to show results in Iray. You'd just get similar stains than you get with other iray drop wet products.

That product has morphs for the drips and drops.
