Script to adapt rigging to shape for only a part of the figure?

Hi all!

I have transfered some morphs from G3 to G8, but they appear only to work well if I choose to adapt rigging to shape after applying the morphs. Yet, this process of adapting the rigging to shape only works well for me after I pose the figure. So, is there a way to turn this action of adapting the rigging to shape into a (one click) script? I only want certain body parts to be affected by this, so if I have to do it manually, I have a lot of unchecking to do after every pose change... Please show me how to capture that action into a script.

Adjust Rigging to Shape shold work on the zeroed pose, it compares the shape to the base shape adn moves the joint centres so they match the moved positions of the nearby geometry as I understand it.
